You just landed your first job at the end of your studies. You need to inform the social security so that you continue to be covered by it and benefit from all the rights attached to the status of employee by starting these procedures.
Contact your health insurance fund the following form: “Declaration of change of situation / transfer” by attaching:
- A photocopy of your identity card (national identity card or a valid residence permit).
- Bank account details for your refunds, documents attesting to your professional activity.
The members of the MSA (the agricultural social mutuality) can make their declaration online.
Finally, keep your student social security card. You will be able to update it as soon as your health insurance fund asks you to do so.
